When the mold temperature is below 50 degrees, the plastic parts are not smooth, easy to produce poor welding, flow marks, and easy to warp and deformation above 90 degrees. Plastic wall thickness must be uniform, avoid lack of glue, sharp corners, to prevent stress concentration. Process characteristics PP has a good flow at melting temperature, molding performance is good, PP in processing has two characteristics: one: the viscosity of PP melt with the increase of shear rate and there is a significant decline (less affected by temperature); Second, the degree of molecular orientation is high and the shrinkage rate is large. The processing temperature of PP is better at 200-300℃, and it has good thermal stability (decomposition temperature is 310℃), but at high temperature (270-300℃), it will be degraded for a long time in the barrel. As the viscosity of PP decreases significantly with the increase of shear rate, increasing injection pressure and injection speed will improve its fluidity and improve shrinkage deformation and sag. Mold temperature should be controlled in the range of 30-50℃. PP melt can pass through very narrow mold gaps and appear. PP in the melting process, to absorb a lot of melting heat (specific heat is larger), the product is hot after the mold. PP material processing without drying, PP shrinkage and crystallinity is lower than PE.
