What precautions should be taken when installing PVC pipes?
1. When installing, measure the size and break the pipe to ensure the fracture level.
2. Not all PVC pipes can be inserted before connection, so try to insert them into the socket. When gluing, if there is oil, dust or even moisture, it should be removed.
3. The inspection port should be set at the bottom and top of the drainage pipe, and the center of the inspection port should be one meter away from the ground.
4. During the installation process, the pipes should be lowered gently to avoid damage during installation and to ensure that the pipes are complete and clean. After installation, a pressure test should be performed to confirm that there is no leakage in each interface. Otherwise, it should be replaced and reinstalled immediately.

PVC AS/NZS 1477 is used to join two identical sized PVC pressure pipes. Manuafactured to AS/NZS 1477 Standards. These fittings require Solvent & Priming Fluid to make a gaurenteed joint.
This standard covers Series 1 pipes in sizes from DN 10 upwards with solvent cement joints or rubber ring joints (Polydex) and Series 2 (Vinyl Iron)) pipes from DN 100 with rubber ring joints
