PVC Schedule 40 Pressure Pipe and Fitting System

PVC Schedule 40 is highly durable, with high tensile and impact strength.

Scope：Never test with or transport/store compressed air or gas in PVC pipe or fittings. Doing so can result in explosive failures and cause severe injury or death.

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is one of the most broadly used thermoplastic materials, common to many industries.

Specification：Pipe and fittings shall be manufactured from virgin rigid PVC (polyvinyl chloride) vinyl compounds with a cell class of 12454 as identified in ASTM D 1784.

PVC Schedule 40 pipe shall be Iron Pipe Size (IPS) conforming to ASTM D 1785. Injection molded PVC Schedule 40 fittings shall conform to ASTM D 2466. Pipe and fittings shall be manufactured as a system and be the product of one manufacturer.

Main Products：

PVC can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC. Hard PVC accounts for about 2/3 of the market, soft PVC accounts for 1/3. Soft PVC is generally used for floor, ceiling and leather surface, but because soft PVC contains plasticizer (this is also the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC), the physical performance is poor (as the water pipe needs to bear a certain pressure, soft PVC is not suitable for use), so its use scope is limited. Hard PVC does not contain plasticizer, so it is easy to form, good physical properties, so it has great development and application value. In the production process of PVC materials, several additives are bound to be added, such as stabilizer, plasticizer and so on. If all environmental protection additives are used, the PVC pipe is also non-toxic and tasteless environmental protection products.

1. The surface hardness and tensile strength of the pipe are excellent, and the pipeline safety factor is high.
2. It has good aging resistance and its normal service life can reach more than 50 years.
3. The pipeline has excellent corrosion resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, and salts, and is suitable for industrial sewage discharge and transportation.
4. The friction coefficient of the pipeline is small, the water flow is smooth, it is not easy to be blocked, and the maintenance workload is small.
5. The material has a high oxygen index and is self-extinguishing.
6. The linear expansion coefficient of the pipeline is small, 0.07mm/℃, and the deformation affected by temperature is small. The thermal conductivity and elastic modulus are small, and compared with cast iron drainage pipes, they have excellent freezing resistance.
7. Bonding can be used to connect pipes and pipe fittings. The construction method is simple, the operation is convenient, and the installation efficiency is high.
8. Good water tightness: PVC-U pipes have good water tightness regardless of whether they are connected by bonding or rubber rings.
