1. It has good tensile and compressive strength: but its flexibility is not as good as other plastic pipes.
2. Low fluid resistance: PVC-U pipe wall is very smooth, and its resistance to fluid is very small. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009. Its water delivery capacity can be 20% higher than that of cast iron pipe with the same pipe diameter, and 40% higher than that of concrete pipe.
3. Excellent corrosion resistance and drug resistance: PVC-U pipe has excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, and is not affected by moisture and soil pH, so no anti-corrosion treatment is required for pipe laying.
4. Good water tightness: PVC-U pipes are installed with good water tightness, no matter by bonding or rubber ring connection.
5. Anti bite: PVC-U tube is not a nutrient source, so it will not be eroded by rodents. According to the test conducted by the National Health Foundation in Michigan, rats will not bite PVC-U pipes.
6. Performance test: curing time, shrinkage, splitting strength, tensile strength, peel strength, thermal stability, shelf life, release of harmful substances.
