Installation of PVC drainage pipes
1. Saw pipe and groove. The length of the saw pipe is determined layer by layer based on actual measurement and the size of each connecting pipe fitting. Sawing tools such as fine-tooth saws, cutting knives, and pipe cutting machines should generally be used. The fracture surface should be flat and there should be no deformation at the cross-section. The part of the socket to be bonded can be filed into a 15o~30o groove using a medium size board file. The length of the groove is generally not less than 3mm, and the thickness of the groove should be 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. After the groove is completed, debris should be removed.
2. Protection of socket interfaces. Generally speaking, after connecting the socket interface, the extruded adhesive should be wiped clean with cotton yarn or a cloth dipped in a little acetone or other cleaning agents. According to the performance of the adhesive and climatic conditions, wait until the interface solidifies. If construction is carried out in winter, the curing time should also be appropriately extended.
