It is insoluble in any organic solvent at room temperature and is acid and alkali resistant. and corrosion from various salts; the film has low permeability to water vapor and air, low water absorption; and poor aging resistance. However, high-density polyethylene films have a low thermal deformation temperature under stress, so care should be taken during application.
