Product characteristics
Because of the high crystallinity, the external stiffness and scratch resistance characteristics of pp tube are very good, so there is no stress cracking problem.
Low MFR PP tube data have good impact resistance characteristics but low extension strength. For the same MFR information, the strength of the copolymer type is higher than that of the homopolymer type. Because of crystallization, the shortening rate of PP is quite high, usually 1.8~2.5%.
The strength of PP tube increases with the addition of ethylene content. The Vica softening temperature of PP was 150℃. In the market, PP is generally modified by joining glass fiber, metal additives or thermoplastic rubber.
PP tube is a kind of semi-crystalline material. It is stronger than PE and has a higher melting point. Because homopolymer type PP tube temperature above 0℃ is very brittle? Therefore, many trade PP information is to participate in 1~4% ethylene random copolymer or higher ratio of ethylene clamp copolymer content. Copolymer PP data has a lower thermal distortion temperature (100℃), low visibility, low gloss, low rigidity, but there is a stronger impact strength. The activity rate MFR of PP is limited to 1~40. Moreover, the deviation average of shortening rate is much better than that of PE-HD data. Adding 30% glass additive reduces the shortening rate to 0.7%. Homopolymer type and copolymer type PP data have excellent hygroscopic resistance, acid and alkali erosion resistance, and ablation resistance. However, it has no counterweight to phenarene (such as benzene) solvent, chlorinated hydrocarbon (carbon tetrachloride) solvent. PP tube also does not have oxidation resistance at high temperature like PE.
