1. PP-R is also called three-type polypropylene tube and random copolymerization polypropylene. Random copolymerization polypropylene is extruded into pipe and injection molding into pipe fitting. Polypropylene random copolymer is also a kind of polypropylene. The basic structure of its polymer chain is modified by adding different kinds of monomers. Ethylene is the most commonly used monomer, which causes changes in the physical properties of polypropylene.
2, compared with pp homopolymer, random copolymer improved optical properties (increase transparency and reduce turbidity fog), improve impact resistance, increase flexibility, reduce the melting temperature, thus also reduce the hot melt temperature; At the same time, the properties of chemical stability, water vapor isolation and organosensory properties (low odor and taste) are basically the same as homopolymer. The PP-C pipes on the market are actually PP-B pipes, and their raw materials are special materials for block copolymer polypropylene pipes. PP-B pipe is a type of cold and hot water pipe, which is relatively cheap. Its heat resistance and pressure resistance performance differ greatly from PP-R. For example, the service condition classification is 2, the design pressure is 0.6MPa for DN25mm pipes, the wall thickness of PP-R pipes is 3.5mm, and the wall thickness of PP-B (PP-C) pipes is 5.1mm; The design pressure is 0.8MPa DN25mm, and the wall thickness of PP-R pipe is 4.2mm, while PP-B (PP-C) cannot be used. Because the required wall thickness is too thick. PP-C pipes with the same structural size as PP-R in the market have much lower usage conditions and cannot be mixed with PP-R pipes, let alone replaced with PP-C pipes after determining usage conditions. Use condition 2 indicates a design temperature of 70 ℃ for heating water.
