On June 25th, the China Light Industry Top 100 Enterprises Summit Forum was held in Beijing with the theme of “Strengthening Science and Technology Innovation and Serving a Better Life”. The forum released the "Top 20 Chinese Light Industry Enterprises in 2018", "Top 50 Enterprises in China's Light Industry Food Industry" and "Top 30 Enterprises in China's Light Industry Equipment Manufacturing" list. ERA Plastics Group Co., Ltd. won the title of “China Top 100 Light Industry (53)” and “Top 10 Chinese Plastics Industry (2)”, and Yonggao Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of “China Top 100 Light Industry Technology Enterprises (17)”.

Since 2010, the company has been ranked among the top ten plastic pipes in China for 9 consecutive years, ranking second for five consecutive years. It is understood that in the list of the top ten announced this time, Liansu, ERA, Lishi daily necessities, Zhongcai Pipeline, Weixing New Materials, Amcor China Investment, Double Star Plastics, Kangtai Plastics, Jinniu Economy, and Zhongcai Profiles were included. A total of 200 companies were awarded the "Top 20 Enterprises of China's Light Industry in 2018".

Light industry is the traditional advantageous industry of China's national economy, an important civilian production industry and an industry with strong international competitiveness. In 2018, the national light industry's main business income was 19.6 trillion yuan, and the total profit was 1.3 trillion yuan; In the month, light industry operating income increased by 4.7% year-on-year, total profit increased by 8.6% year-on-year, and operating income profit rate was 5.96%, both higher than the national industrial level.

In the first quarter of this year, China's light industry, in the case of a 5% decline in exports to the United States, worked hard to expand the ASEAN, EU and "Belt and Road" countries along the national market, achieving a total export growth of 12.4%, 11 percentage points higher than the national. The sound and prosperity of the light industry has made positive and important contributions to the national economy and social development. As China's economy shifts from a high-speed growth stage to a high-quality development stage, light industry urgently needs to change its development mode, accelerate transformation and upgrading, improve the effective supply level, actively resolve the insufficiency of industrial development imbalance, and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
