produce alignment. There are several materials of compression fittings, such as: Steel, Brass, Plastic. The most plastic material
used is PP, there are also PE or PVC compression fittings.
PP compression fittings are widely used in water supply and irrigation. ERA mechanical fittings are made by high quality PP
material with UV protection, both material and fittings are approved use with drinking water. The threaded version is BSP.

Polypropylene, a kind of plastic, is a high density, no side chain, high crystallization of linear polymer, with excellent comprehensive properties. Common products: basin, bucket, furniture, film, woven bag, bottle caps, car bumper, etc.

pp plastic, chemical name :Polypropylene English name :Polypropylene (pp for short) proportion :0.9-0.91 g/cubic centimeter forming shrinkage rate :1.0-2.5% molding temperature: 160-220℃PP is a crystalline polymer, PP's comprehensive performance is better than PE material. PP products light weight, good toughness, good chemical resistance. The disadvantages of PP: low dimensional accuracy, insufficient rigidity, poor weather resistance, it has a shrinkage phenomenon, after stripping, easy aging, brittle, easy deformation. In daily life, the commonly used crisper is made of PP material.

Copolymer PP materials have lower heat distortion temperature (100°C), low transparency, low gloss, and low rigidity, but have stronger impact strength. The activity rate MFR of PP is limited to 1~40. Moreover, the uniformity of the shrinkage rate is much better than that of PE-HD and other materials. Adding 30% glass additive can reduce the shrinkage rate to 0.7%. Both homopolymer and copolymer PP materials have excellent resistance to moisture absorption, acid and alkali corrosion, and melt resistance. However, it has no resistance to aromatic hydrocarbon (such as benzene) solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbon (carbon tetrachloride) solvents, etc. PP pipes also do not have oxidation resistance at high temperatures like PE.
