Scope：
This specification covers CPVC DIN 8079 manufactured to standard dimensional ratio (SDR) 11 for hot and cold domestic water distribution. This system is intended for pressure applications where the operating temperature will not exceed 180°F at 100psi.

Main Products：
CPVC is a new type of engineering plastics with broad application prospect. The resin is a new type of engineering plastic made by chlorination modification of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin. The product is white or light yellow tasteless, odorless, non-toxic loose particles or powder. After chlorination of PVC resin, the irregularity of molecular bonds increases, the polarity increases, the solubility of the resin increases, the chemical stability increases, thereby improving the heat resistance of the material, acid, alkali, salt, oxidant corrosion. The mechanical properties of the thermal deformation temperature of the resin were improved, the chlorine content was increased from 56.7% to 63-69%, the softening temperature of Vica was increased from 72-82 ℃ to 90-125 ℃, the maximum using temperature could reach 110 ℃, and the long-term using temperature was 95 ℃. CORZAN CPVC performance index is better.
1. Sturdy: Since PVC-C is stronger than PP-R, PB and PEX, it requires fewer hooks and brackets. PVC-C can withstand greater pressure. At the same flow rate, compared with PP-R, PB and PEX pipes, PVC-C pipes can use smaller diameters.
2. Easy to install: It can be connected using special fusing agent, and no special tools are needed during installation. It is suitable for both surface and concealed installation.
3. Corrosion resistance: PVC-C is not easily permeable to oxygen, so the metal parts in the system will not corrode due to oxidation.
4. Good flame retardancy: The oxygen index of PVC-C is 60, its combustion ability is very low, it extinguishes immediately after leaving the fire, will not produce fire droplets, and can suppress the generation of smoke and toxic gases.
5. Not affected by residual chlorine: Unlike polyolefin pipes, PVC-C pipes are not affected by residual chlorine in the water and will not crack or collapse after long-term use.
6. Acid and alkali resistance: PVC-C has strong anti-corrosion ability against both acid and alkali, and can be used to transport HCL and NaOH liquids.
