The cold weather has made the ice and snow economy increasingly "hot". Projects such as skiing and ice and snow

worlds have frequently appeared on hot search lists, triggering a boom in ice and snow consumption.

Recently, the General Office of the State Council issued the "Several Opinions on Stimulating the Vitality of the Ice and

Snow Economy through the High-Quality Development of Ice and Snow Sports", putting forward two goals: By 2027,

the venues and facilities for ice and snow sports will be further improved, the service level will be significantly enhanced,

and the total scale of the ice and snow economy will reach 1.2 trillion yuan; by 2030, the total scale of the ice and

snow economy will reach 1.5 trillion yuan.

Under the policy guidance of strengthening the construction of ice and snow venues and facilities, the construction of ice

and snow venues has also become an important task for stimulating the vitality of the ice and snow economy. Whether it is

the Zhangjiakou Chongli Olympic venues with perennial snow in the north or the Huafa Ice and Snow World that is being

intensively developed in the south, ERA has continuously helped the prosperous development of China's ice and snow

undertakings and contributed to the realization of the dream of a powerful ice and snow nation.

In recent years, ice and snow tourism has witnessed explosive growth. As the host city of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the

winter ice and snow activities in Chongli have become extremely popular. Many high-quality snow sports events at home

and abroad have been passionately held in Chongli, becoming a new driving force for stimulating the development of

the ice and snow economy.

Recently, the Ruyi Ski Resort has been opened to the public. The Zhangjiakou Chongli Olympic Park has also been upgraded

from the "Three Venues and One Village" format composed of the "Snow Ruyi" of the National Ski Jumping Center, the

National Biathlon Center, the National Cross-Country Skiing Center and the Zhangjiakou Winter Olympic Village to the

"Four Venues and One Village", adding a new look to the Zhangjiakou Winter Olympic Ski Resort.

Starting from the Zhangjiakou Waterworks, ERA pipelines have been transporting water all the way. With the powerful

pipeline support of the HDPE water supply series, the continuous source of life has been delivered to the enthusiastic

sports venues under the ice and snow. The ERA HDPE water supply pipes are buried deep underground, with extremely

high toughness and environmental adaptability. Even under low temperatures, their service life can reach more than 50

years, ensuring smooth water supply for the venues with their excellent water transmission stability.

Shenzhen

Huafa Ice and Snow World

In the steel forest of the bustling city, an ice and snow kingdom is quietly rising - the Huafa Ice and Snow World, a

giant ice and snow-themed work covering an area of about 430,000 square meters, with a total investment of over

29.6 billion yuan. It has been listed in the list of major projects in Shenzhen for four consecutive years.

The indoor snowfield in the venue has a construction area of about 100,000 square meters, with 5 ski slopes that meet

the standards of professional events. The maximum height difference is 83 meters, and the longest single slope reaches

450 meters. After completion, it will become the indoor snow world with the largest height difference, the most

professional slides and the longest single slope in China.

In the ice and snow venues in the south, the challenges they face are not only the coldness of ice and snow but also

the tests of high temperatures and intense sunlight. ERA provides all-round guarantees for the daily operation of the

venues, offering a series of high-quality solutions from water supply, drainage to power protection. Various types of

pipelines such as the PPR water supply series, the PVC-U water supply and drainage series and the PVC-U electrical

series are applied therein, ensuring that the venues can operate efficiently and safely under extreme climatic conditions

and creating an ideal environment for ice and snow sports and entertainment activities.

The Huafa Ice and Snow World project will be successfully launched in 2025. After completion, it will become another

world-class landmark business district in Shenzhen, and Shenzhen will also become an important destination for ice

and snow tourism in southern China.
