On April 25-26, 2019, the "China Plastics Association Plastic Pipeline Special Committee 2019 Annual Meeting and the 2019 Plastic Pipeline Industry Exchange Conference" was held in Guiyang, Guizhou Province.

The meeting reviewed and approved the 2018 Work Report of the Plastics Pipeline Professional Committee of China Plastics Processing Industry Association by Zhang Jianjun, Chairman of the Plastic Pipeline Professional Committee of China Plastics Processing Industry Association.

In the report, Chairman Zhang Jianjun summarized the achievements of the plastic pipe industry in 2018: the total output of plastic pipes in the country in 2018 was about 15.67 million tons, an increase of 3% year-on-year, and the industry's development was steady and rising. Plastic pipe products have maintained steady growth in the fields of municipal engineering, construction, water conservancy, agriculture, and industry. The industrial structure of the industry is gradually changing and the concentration is increasing. The development of the industry is gradually moving towards standardization, quality, intelligence, service and green.

Wang Zhanjie, vice chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the conference, introduced the development of China's plastics processing industry and plastic pipe industry, and made recommendations on the future development of the plastic pipe industry.

512 representatives from leaders, experts, member units, plastic pipe production enterprises, upstream and downstream enterprises, industry associations, testing institutions, certification units, and related media from relevant units attended the meeting.
