Now let’s do the peel test for our electrofusion joint.
Select the PE fittings that require peel testing for welding,
ensuring that the size and shape, condition of the specimens meet the testing requirements.
Arrange the PE fitting component test sample clamping tool on the workbench.
Fix the welded sample in the peeling test clamp to ensure its secure fixation.
Start the tensile testing machine and apply tension at a certain speed,
usually within the standard range, gradually increasing until the joint peels off.
Record the maximum force applied in the mode peeling,
such as complete peeling, partial peeling, etc.
Analyze the experimental results to determine the quality and strength of electric fusion welding.
