The meeting emphasized the importance of building safe, reliable, and resilient cities, promoting the construction of lifeline safety projects for urban infrastructure, accelerating the renovation and upgrading of aging pipelines, strengthening urban natural disaster prevention and control, and coordinating urban flood control systems and waterlogging management.

Authoritative data indicates that by 2025, my country plans to construct and renovate over 150,000 kilometers of underground pipelines and complete 1,000 key drainage and flood control projects. The water supply and drainage upgrade and renovation project in Xingning's Old City district, Guangdong Province, is a prime example. Prior to the renovation, areas such as Xingning Old City Square, Chaotianwei, and Tuanjie Road suffered frequent flooding due to aging and leaking water supply pipes.

In 2021, with the high attention of the municipal party committee and government, the project officially launched, planning a 74.7-kilometer water supply and sewage network, along with two drainage pumping stations, six sewage pumps, and other supporting facilities. ERA utilizes high-performance HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe as its core material, supplemented by reliable PE water supply pipes. Through the robust operation of the pumping station system, accumulated water in the urban area will be quickly drained into the Ningjiang River, completely resolving the local waterlogging problem.
