01 Check the Appearance

Firstly, observe the appearance of the pipes. Poor-quality PVC drainage pipes, often seen in the market as white, can have colors that are overly white or yellowish and uneven in tone. They might also be brittle and rigid, with a rough interior surface showing small pores. On the other hand, high-quality products should have a uniform, milky white color, with both inner and outer walls being relatively smooth and even.

02 Assess Tenacity

Inferior PVC pipes often contain excessive calcium powder during production to save costs, resulting in cheap but brittle pipes. High-quality PVC pipes exhibit sufficient toughness; they are both hard and resilient. They may flatten under heavy pressure testing, but they won't shatter.

03 Measure Thickness

Check whether the pipe wall thickness matches the packaging instructions and whether it has complete printed markings and relevant standards.

04 Corrosion Resistance

Good pipes exhibit corrosion resistance against chemicals (including strong acids and bases). They are also immune to fungal and bacterial attacks, are termite-resistant, weather-resistant, odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. Under normal usage conditions, their lifespan can exceed 30-50 years.
