On the contrary, the flow rate coefficient of new galvanized steel pipe is 120, and after 4 to 40 years of use, this rate will decrease by more than 50%. In a relatively short period of time, compared to CPVC pipes, surface corrosion of galvanized steel pipes can lead to a decrease in the hydraulic performance of the fire protection system.
