System:PVC CONDUITS AND FITTINGS System
Scope:Built-in cable clamps hold wires firmly in place.
PVC conduit is often used in underground and wet location applications.
An electrical conduit (EC) is a piping system that is used to carry electrical wiring for either power or communication.
The electrical conduits are solid and they are used to both house and protect electrical cables and wiring.
Specification: Electrical Conduit and Fittings can help with your VAC Equipment, Machine Tools, Marine Equipment, Motors & Controls, Printing Equipment, Pumps, Refrigeration Equipment, Transformer Connections, Outdoor Lighting, Automotive Equipment, Computer & Peripherals, Fiber Optics, Lab Equipment, Lasers, Office Equipment, Robotics and more.
All wiring shall be installed in Allied Tube & Conduit rigid PVC conduit and secured by means of proper fittings.
All fittings shall be offered by Allied Tube & Conduit. All outlets, pull boxes and junction points shall be fitted with Allied outlet boxes, fittings and junction boxes.
Exposed conduit shall be securely attached and supported by means of straps. The straps shall be installed at the recommended spacing as specified in the National Electrical Code (NEC). The straps must allow for linear expansion and contraction of the conduit due to temperature change. If the variance in temperature exceeds 25°F, expansion joints shall be installed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. If rigid PVC conduit is embedded in concrete or direct buried, support straps are not required.
A u-shaped conduit support device used to anchor conduit to interior or exterior surfaces. Two holes in the feet of the strap allow mounting with screws or nails.
A cylindrical enclosure with four conduit hubs designed to be embedded in a concrete floor with some excess length remaining above the plane of the floor. Excess is trimmed flush with the concrete. Sold as a kit with one leveling ring, 4 blank hubs (stoppers), 4 reducing bushings and one polyethylene temporary pour lid.
Used to effect a sharp 90° turn in conduit where wires must be continuously pulled around the turn. Provides a smooth surface that will not damage wiring.
A surface mounted enclosure without entrance hubs which allows multiple conduits to be connected and wire splices made within. Appropriate round hole for conduit entrance must be cut. Male adapters or box adapters may be used to secure conduits to the box. May be concrete encased or buried but not warranted or listed to be watertight for all circumstances.
Fields of application:
Piping networks for home-decoration in building.
Piping networks for post, telecommunications, and network cabling.
Conduit Bodes are used to change direction of a conduit run. Conduit Bodies come with a removable cover, gasket and screws.
Exposed outlet boxes are used for conduit termination box, wire splices and two single gang electrical devices. Uses two gang device covers.
